If you are looking for a fun and creative way for your child to spend this summer vacation, here is the answer for you!  Willow Vale Summer Camp begins on Monday, June 15th and runs through August 19th 2009.  A wide variety of activities are a part of every day at Willow Vale.  Summer Day Camp is open to all children Kindergarten age through grade 6.

REGISTRATION   
The registration fee of $100.00 per child is payable upon enrollment in Summer Day Camp.  This is a non refundable fee.

WEEKLY COST
The cost per week is $160.00.  This cost includes Summer Day Camp Activities, all field trips, and extended care before and after day camp hours.

SUMMER DAY CAMP HOURS
Day Camp hours are 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  The schedule daily is as follows:
  6:30 - Before Day Camp Care
  9:00 - Flag raising
  9:15 - Chapel Assembly
  9:45 - Group activities (by age)
10:30 - snack
10:50 - second group activities
11:30 - Wash hands, clean up
11:45 - Lunch
12:30 to 2:00 Quiet time (movie, etc)
2:00 to 2:50 third group activity
2:50 - snack
3:00 to 4:00 free play - water activity etc.
4:00 Closing Flag ceremony
4:10 to 6:00 After Day Camp extended care

*Field Trip days are Tuesdays and Thursdays.  The schedule changes on these days to accommodate these special events.

Extended care is available from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at no additional cost.  Late pick up after 6:00 p.m. is $1.00 per minute charge.
STAFF
Our experienced staff is fully qualified, has been fingerprinted, and background checks have been completed.  Each Staff Member brings a special talent to the leadership team.  The children will benefit from the talents of the talent of this special staff of adults.

DRESS CODE
No flip flops are allowed to be worn at Summer Day Camp.  Shoes that protect feet should be worn.  Sandals must have a strap on the back.  Because Children will be outdoors frequently, t-shirts and modest shorts should be worn to prevent sun burn.  Sleeveless shirts are permitted but no spaghetti straps or tank tops may be worn.  Girl's swimsuits should be one piece.  Please remember to pack plenty of sunscreen.

LUNCH AND SNACKS
The campers bring lunch on Monday through Thursday.  A morning and an afternoon snack are provided.  There are no heat ups during summer day camp due to field trips and activities.

Fridays are cookout days.  Lunch will be provided.

ACTIVITIES
Activities include sports, field trips, picnics, bowling, water slides, Golfland, roller skating, arts and crafts, games, hiking, "Camp Willow Vale", Vacation Bible School, drama, music, and special projects.

OUR CAMPUS
Willow Vale Community Church is home to Summer Day Camp activities.  Day campers will be using much of the three plus acres for day camp activities.  Our classrooms which we use during the hot part of summer days are air conditioned.  We also make frequent use of the lawn sprinklers.
